Leadership with technical depth
At THINKalpha, I joined as the first product engineer and helped grow the engineering organization. As Director of Software Engineering, I manage engineers and engineering managers, hire and mentor technical leaders, and work with the CEO to connect product needs with technical strategy.
I stay directly involved when a problem needs architectural judgment or hands-on implementation. That includes trading systems, financial protocols, compilers, market data, and distributed research infrastructure.
Build it, operate it, improve it
I built the original Node.js and TypeScript trading system and later designed and coded its Rust successor. The work spans FIX connectivity, execution APIs, durable messaging, recovery, readiness, and graceful shutdown.
Production ownership is part of the same responsibility: observability, incident response, service-level objectives, and remediation all inform the next architectural decision.
Migration with evidence
My approach to AI-assisted re-platforming uses bounded tasks and explicit acceptance evidence. Protocol maps, golden fixtures, cross-runtime contracts, integration tests, and benchmarks help establish behavioral parity as the implementation changes.
The public story here is the engineering approach and my role. My LinkedIn profile provides the broader professional background.
